IOLITE- PHYSICAL & METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Iolite is generally seen as a deep blue stone when faceted and set in jewelry, but it displays an exceptional pleochroism that causes the stone to appear as one of three distinct colors depending on the angle it is viewed from. The stone may be seen as violet blue, yellow gray or a light blue based on the axis. Iolite helps you to feel comfortable in the leadership role and/or makes others easier to accept you in that role also. It keeps you from feeling your are the victim of circumstanes also. There are three colors to this stone each adding their effect to it, blue effecting friendships, gray professional, purple family or sexual relationships.
