JET- PHYSICAL & METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Jet is a black gemstone, which is actually an organic product, a bituminous coal which can be polished. It has a velvety luster and a hardness of 2.5 to 4. When rubbed, it becomes electrically charged. Intuitive sources say that Jet can be used to dispel fears and negative thoughts, and to protect one against illness and violence. It is said to create a sense of calm & diminish depression.
