For those who want something even older than Roman glass- Phoenecian glass. 16 inches of beads in wonderful brilliant colors. Some people might call these elbow beads but they are not- althought the currently could serve that purpose in your finished jewelry. These are recently re-fashioned beads. The glasswork is over 2000 years old. They were originally made as glass bangles. These beads were drilled from the broken pieces of the ancient bangles. Each bead measures about 5mm wide and about 12 mm long. Thses are not exact measurements, there is alot of variation when it comes down to millimeters but each bead is a nice useable size.
